# Particle Model Maze

This maze helps you review the particle model of matter. This model says that all matter is made of tiny particles. These particles are always moving. There are spaces between them ([Knowledge](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/36475), [PDF p.1](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/library/pdf/9862?page=1)). As you trace a path from start to finish, you will pass words. These words describe how particles behave in solids, liquids, and gases ([Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/36477), [Knowledge](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/36475), [Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/36477)). ## How to play

Start at the top left cell of the grid. Find a path of connected open cells. The path should lead to the bottom right cell. You can move up, down, left, or right. You cannot move diagonally. Use a pencil to trace your route. Move one cell at a time.

Along the way, watch for these eight key words from the particle model: particle, solid, liquid, gas, vibrate, spaces, movement, attractive force. These words describe ideas you have learned. For example, particles in a solid vibrate close together.
