# Communities in Alberta Maze

Grade 3 students live in communities. Communities are groups of people. You learn what it means to be a citizen ([Topic](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/47686)). A citizen is a member of a community. This game is a maze. A maze is a puzzle with paths. Find key words about citizenship in the maze. Move through the maze slowly. Read each word as you pass it. Write down each word. At the end, you will know what makes communities work ([Outcome](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/47688), [Details](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/47690)).

## How to play

- Start at the marked entrance and draw one path through the open corridors to the marked exit without crossing a wall.
- Each time you pass through a cell that carries a word, read it and write it down in order. The right route passes 4 words; the grey words sit in dead ends.
- The shortest path passes through 37 cells. The answer key shows the route and the 4 words in order.
