# Addition and Subtraction Hangman

Get ready to guess some math words! We use these words when we add and subtract numbers up to 100 ([Outcome](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29844)). You will think about sums, tens, and doubles ([Knowledge](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29850)). Some words tell us how to build a number. Some words tell us how to picture a number. Have fun guessing!

## How to play

Look at the blank lines. Each line is one letter in the word.
Pick a letter you think is in the word.
If the letter is in the word, we write it on the right line.
If the letter is not in the word, we draw one part of the hangman picture.
Guess the whole word before the picture is finished!
Work with a partner. Take turns picking letters.

Think about your math words as you guess:

One word means the big number you subtract from ([Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29852)).
One word means putting parts together to make a number ([Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29848)).
One word means two matching numbers added together, like 5 + 5 ([Knowledge](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29850)).
One word means picturing a number in your mind, like seeing tens blocks ([Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29848)).
