Alberta is made up of diverse, pluralistic communities ([Outcome](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/47630), [Understanding](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/47633)). People who live in Alberta come from many backgrounds. Some are settlers who came long ago, some are immigrants who arrived more recently, and some are members of First Nations and Métis communities. In Alberta, people speak many different languages and celebrate different cultures.
