# Addition and Subtraction Hangman

Grade 2 math has special words. Words like ADDEND, STRATEGY, COMPOSE, and QUANTITY help us talk about numbers. We use these words when we add and subtract within 100 ([Outcome](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29844)). We use them when we make a sum in different ways ([Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29848), [Understanding](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29847)). We use them when we pick a smart strategy for two-digit numbers ([Knowledge](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29850), [Skills](https://goa-cc-uat-aili-app-001.azurewebsites.net/explore/node/29852)). Let's guess these math words, one letter at a time!

## How to play

Look at the blanks. Each blank is one letter.
Pick a letter you think is in the word.
Say your letter or write it down.
If the letter is in the word, put it in the right blank.
If the letter is not in the word, add one part to the snowman.
Try to guess the word before the snowman is finished.
You may guess the whole word any time.
Take turns with a partner. Have fun!
